The higher the front wheel is lifted, the more dramatic the lean. Raise the front wheel only enough to provide adequate ground clearance for curbs, steep dips, etc. to lessen the lean. Leaning is only a factor in tight turns. Normal highway driving, even on winding roads, produces only minimal leaning.
